Walter G. Cooke, Sr.(Pop Cooke) was my paternal grandfather. My father was Freddy Joe Cooke,Walter's eldest son by Eda Mildred Friday (his second wife). Walter, Sr. lived and later died in my parents' care in Fort Worth, Texas. He died August 8, 1967. I have a few pictures of him, and know a bit about his life from his second marriage until his death. If you are interested in that time-frame of his life, let me know. I'll see if I have anything useful for you. I, too, am looking for information on Walter's first marriage and the daughter from that marriage. If you've been able to locate anything, I'd appreciate the help.
