I, too, am descended from a Nathaniel Cooke, who seems to have lived at least for a time in Windsor, CT! I have no dates or other info on Nathaniel, although his father and brother were both named Aaron.

Here's the information I have (I have notes written by my grandmother, but little original source info):

Father Aaron was born in England in 1610, and apparently came to America in 1630. He received a land grant in Windsor, CT in 1636, and was granted land in Northampton, MA in 1659/60. He was a Capt. in King Phillip's War & the Pequot War. He was made a Major in 1687, and died in Northampton, MA in 1690. (If our Nathaniels are, indeed, the same, maybe this is why he wasn't mentioned in Aaron's will.) This Aaron married 4 times: to Mary Ford in 1637 (the mother of my Nathaniel & brother Aaron), to Joan Denslow in 1649, to Elizabeth Nash in Dec. 1676, and to Rebecca Foote in Oct. 1688.

Brother Aaron was born 21 Feb 1639/40 in Windsor, CT, and died 16 Sept 1716 (place unknown). He was a Capt. He married Sarah Westwood (1644-1729/30) on 20 May 1661; they were the first couple married in Hadley, MA.

If your Nathaniel and mine are the same, I'd love to know more, although my line actually goes back to brother Aaron!
