I have some notes showing that Benjamin Allen of Westmoreland Co. PA sold 600 A. to Peden Cook on Robinson's Run 6 Jan. 1780. Henry Rhoad of Westmoreland Co. PA, sold land to Payton (Peden) Cook on Shirtee Creek 18 Dec. 1780. And other later land transactions by Payton Cook in Washington Co.PA.
Have you checked the Jacob and Phebe (Lindley) Cook family of Mendham, Morris Co. NJ?. They went to Washington Co. PA. and later settled in Lexington, Richland Co. Ohio.
