Cooke Family Genealogy Forum

Hi, well, you are only in a rut if you want to stay there. I have found family members on less then you have. But, I did have one thing that you don't think you have, and that is hope and a good guess of the approximate year your grandfather was born, and the date or approx. date he died. It would be helpful if you knew your grandmother's first name or maiden name.
Do you know any brothers names or sisters your Grandfather or grandmother had.
Any genealogy search starts with the basics, What do you know? What do you think you can guess on, and then ask questions of living relatives or go visit the grave yards and look at the dates.
I looked on the internet and found about 50 Walter Cook/Cooke. You hold the key of which one it is by telling a death date or by guessing.
I can teach you how to search genealogy data bases if you are willing to put forth a little effort, instead of whining about what you don't think you have.
