John Cook, Greenville, SC 1830ish

Can anyone help me link John Cook, 1820ish?,to his father/mother in Greenville, SC? I know he was born in Greenville (possibly Simpsonville) through a death certificate. Also, his children (John Thomas, James A, Benjamin W) had alot of land to barter in 1880-1890s, so his line could have been there during the land grant days.

Thanks!
