Mrs. Ella Griffin, 59, of 5653 Columbia Ave. Hammond died today in her residence after a long illness. She was a member of the Royal Neighborhoods of America, And the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. Surviving are her husband Arnold, one son, Kenneth Blakeney of Villa Grove Il., four sisters,Mrs. Maud Robinson,and Mrs. Mary Page of Villa Grove Il., Mrs. Dorothy Hybiak of Sterling, Co., and Mrs Charlotte Cooke of Hammond, four brothers, James H.and Jack Cooke both of Hammond, Robert L and William W of Schereville and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Monday at the Calvary Assembly church at 5622 Calumet avenue Hammond with the Rev. David Epley officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond. Friends may call at the Bocken Funeral Home7042 Kennedy Ave Hammond after 7pm Saturday and 2 pm Sunday,
