Steve and Aimee,
You guys are in the backyard of where the Cooks lived!! No wonder you were surprised that I was from Iowa. Don't you have access to a genealogical society or local records such as birth, death, and marriage? If we could find the obituary for either Henry or Anna it should contain much family info...where born, etc.The story relayed to me was that the family came to Dalhousie from Ireland and I don't think they were there long before coming to NB in 1834.Is there a way to check on passenger lists coming into Dalhouse?
Anna's maiden name is McFall and there was one other McFall in Kings County in 1851 and he, James, lived in the Parish of Norton. He was listed in the home of James and William Hallett, both natives.Just a tidbit to file away.
He could have been a brother??
At some point I will want to get your info and that of Aimee's parents, grandparents, etc. That will be several more branches on the family tree.
I can do the same for you with my James line.
Regards,
Sue
