Searching for descendants of:
Isaiah J. Cook, born September 4, 1895 and died July 1974, married Mary Adelaide Hastings on May 14, 1921 in Pensacola (I think), but lived his later years in Mobile Ala. I heard Mary died December 1974.
Isaiah's mother, Amanda, was Henry Jackson Knotts(1865-1910) youngest sister. I found my g-grandfather Henry buried at Union Hill Baptist Church and Cemetery in Myrtle Grove) Fla. Amanda Knotts Cook (Mrs. James E. Cook)may have been buried there also. Amanda (Manda) was listed on the church roll of Union Hill. Amanda lived her early years in Crenshaw County Ala.
I am still searching for descendants of Amanda Knotts Cook. Her sons were: Frank ,Willie and Isaiah J. Cook.
Any distant Cook or Knotts cousins still out there?
