The Coogans, John Edward and Elizabeth Pettit Coogan moved here in 1900 from Springfield, Missouri. They are my grandparents. They had a sizeable family. My father was Palmer Austin Coogan, who died in Jan. 1999, at age 88. Any Coogans in the Popular Bluff, Mo., area are probably related to us.
