Looking for information on a Thomas M. Coody born abt. 1850 in New York. He married a Lastie Emeline Smith in Sebastian Co. Arkansas on 11-20-1879. They were living in Fort Smith, Ark in 1900,s. I'am interested in Emeline's parents names. Her father is listed on the 1870 census in AR., as H.D. Smith, born in TN. AT this time, her father was married to a Eliza Jane born Mo. This is Emeline's step mother. On the 1880 census H.D. was not listed but there was Eliza, 40, Laura Pinkney 13 (our line) Sarah Alice 10, Nannie M. 9, Wiley C. 6, Lastie Emeline Coody Stepdaughter, Thomas Coody 29, born New York, step son-in-law.
Any one with info on these families would be greatly appreciated.
