Does anyone have info on William Chesley Conway. Buried at Fort Dale Cemetery in Butler Co., Al. Info on marker states he was b. Jan. 1, 1825 - d Oct. 28, 1886.
Pr. Co. K 24 Bat. Alabama Calvary CSA.
Had son: W.J. Conway b Aug. 31, 1863 - d Nov. 20, 1904. Married Lula Alice Callen 1863 - 1936. They had children: 1. Andrew Clyde 1891 - 1960, 2. Wallace Jack 1888 - 1961, 3. Cora 1882-1898, 4. Fannie Helen 1889 - 1890, 5. Oscar Callen 1881 - 1952, 6. John C. 7. Lloyd Colvin 1884 - 1964.
