Jean: Thank you for the information. I will try to find the book through the local library. My ggrandfather settled in Alamakee Co. around that time. His name was Jame B. Conway and married Sarah Whaley. They had at least four children one of whom was my grandfather Merlin. I have a pretty complete list of all of his descendants.
