My grandfather Joe Thomas Conway born 1886 was raised in Ratan, Okla. When he was a young man he ran a horse and buggy taxie service in Sapulpa, Ok. This would be around 1905. He later moved to Red River Co. in northeast Texas around 1913 and farmed there until he died in 1971. His father's name was Isaac Conway who died when my grandfather was a young boy. Isaac was buried in Russellville, Ala.
