I have great news for you! My ancestory is on the Steele side. Apparently several of them married Conways and when I was doing research I found out a lot about the Conways. Louisa Marie Steele married a Jackson Conway born Dec. 14, 1825. I have his death as 1885. Steele was his second wife. He was married to her best friend, Elizabeth Hardgraves, first. She died and she wanted her best friend to raise her children so Jackson Conway married Louisa Marie Steele. If this sounds like a connection, let me know.
