Hi Colleen,
My grgrgrandmother's name was Rachel Conway/
Conoway/Conaway, we are not sure either.
Story has it there were in the State and
at the time of the Amer. Revolution they
were loyal to the British Crown and fled to
Canada and were by Prince Edward Islands.
Rachel was born about 1814 and married a
John Whitelock, Their children were William,
Mary Zilphy, and Lucinda. Some of the names
are the same. Did you find Fred in Canada?
There was a Fred in Frontenac Co. Let me know
what you think.
