Clearfield County PA is where my conaway/conway line comes from. I was able to trace them back and there are no native americans directly in that lineage. A cousin of my mother's was also a Conaway. His father married an indian lady and since my mom and her siblings were close to them, they just assumed that if he was related to the indians it must have been true to them. They did not realize it was not the Conaways.
