This is very interesting. I thought I would be stuck on my Conaway family lines because my mother grew up being told that her great grandfather was in Indian Chief (name was pronounce Con-U) who was forced by the government to take an american name. However, I was able to trace the lineage back many more generations (http://www.math.psu.edu/dibert/roots.html). My mom's siblings find my research a terrible thing and feel that its not true because they all want to believe the indian story. If you would see my skin tone however, you would believe the scot-irish decent much more than the Indian. Just call me Pale Face.

Lisa
