Dear Adela,

I have Conways who came from Ireland to Canada (Toronto,) then to Canton, Pennsylvania, in Bradford County. My g-g-grandmother was Catherine Conway. She had married Thomas Wilson in Kilkee, County Clare, Ireland. They went to Canada in 1848, with their daughter, Mary, and some of her brothers and sisters. Their daughter, Bridget, was born there in 1853. They went to Elmira Ny, in Steuben County, where he filed citizenship papers, then soon after to Canton PA, in Bradford County, where they lived the rest of their lives. There was a brother John, a sister Mary, and a sister Bridget that I know of, but I think it was a big family. Mary married Martin Keavin. I believe their father was also named John. I can send names and dates if you like. Pat
