I found some updated information on Patrick Conway:
Patrick L. Conway; born the 24 or 26 of May, 1843 in Galway, Ireland. He died 13 April 1928, in Tilton, NH. His parents were Edward and Mary Conway. I do not know his mother's maiden name. He immigrated to Concord, New Hampshire about 1851. He had at least one brother, Thomas Conway, who was living in Manchester, NH in 1928.
I would like to find out Patrick's mother's maiden name, Edward and Mary Conway's wedding date, and their parents' names. I would also like to know if Patrick had any other siblings, who immigrated with him to the US, and his actual immigration date.
Patrick Conway married Johanna Ryan (daughter of Patrick Ryan and Honora Lamb from Ireland) in Concord, NH in 1866. I have all his US information, my problem is going backwards. His mother's maiden name is not listed on Patrick's marriage record, death record, or Civil War pension records. I can't find any trace of Edward or Mary Conway in the States or in Ireland. I also can't find Patrick in the US before 1861, although his immigration status is dated as about 1851 in the census records. That's where I'm stuck... finding the Conways in Galway, Ireland.
Any and all information is appreciated. I'm at a complete dead-end on this line.
