Hello William;

Im looking for my Conaway's or Conway's I'm
not sure which way they spelled it. But we
were told, Our Conway, were Penn. Dutch and
went to Onterio Canada before the Rev. war
because they were Loyalist. I found them in
the 1851 census of Addington Co. Camden twp.
Married to a John Whitlock who came from
Ireland, he was born in 1810-1811. Then his
family went to Canada where he met Rachael
Conaway She was born, it states, Canada West,
but her family was Penn. Dutch, doesn't that
mean her family was from Germany? I am
confused. Thanks for any information.
