Kenneth,
I am helping a good friend with her genealogy. Her grandfather is Michael J. Conway, born 1852 in Brooklyn, Kings, NY. He married Fannie Carncrose from Croghan, Lewis, NY. My friend's father is Earl Joseph Conway who was born in Croghan, NY. She was raised in Syracuse. We are trying to find out the parents of Michael J. Could this be your relative also?
