CONWAY, early 19th. century, Ireland
My Conway ancestress was Comfort Conway, born in the late 1700s, married Thomas Stanton in Ireland circa 1815.They then immigrated to America, to KY and southern IN. After being widowed, Comfort (Conway) Stanton went to Champaign County, OH in the 1820s with her children.Have heard before that there were Conways and Stantons in County Mayo, but have had no luck finding more information about Comfort Conway's Irish roots.
