Darlene, I was interested by your remark that the Conway's in you family were from Canada.
The my grandfather imigrated from Ireland to Canada in the last part of the 19th century. His name was Dr. Edward Henry Conway.
Some time shortly thereafter he (they?) imigrated to the US, settling in Michigan. He was a dentist and
Joined the US Navy. He was stationed at a coaling station in Baja California,Mexico where my father and aunt were born.
My father, Edward Henry Conway was born in Mexico City in 1908 and lived in Mexico until 1926 when the political situation casue Dr. Conway to send his family to the US.
The family settled in the Monterey Bay area and were later joined by my grandfather. My gramdmother's name was Cecelia Gadd Conway.

I was hoping that you might have stumbled across my grandfather in your research.

I would appreciate any information you could share.
Thank you
Ed Conway
