Darlene my family came from ireland through New York City.
They owned a hat shop there and eventually moved upstate to Croughan,NY
My great grand father, Michael married a Cairncross(Elizabet? in the 1890's.
woman. My grandfather earnest lived in Watertown NY, My father William Herbert was born there
As were brothers Glenn, and Michael and Sisters Bessie, Fannie, Inez, and Mae. They all moved to Syracuse NY.
I hope that some of this may help. It seems that most of the males in the family were named Michael. Good Luck. Ken Conway
