My grandfather was Patrick Jonce Conway born in 1906. His birth certificate says he was born in the district of Claudy, Tamna, Learmount, in the county of Londonderry, Ireland. His father was also a Patrick J. Conway, and his mother was Mary Donaghey. He had 4 or 5 brothers. My grandfather left in 1929, but no one else is known to have left Ireland, and there is little knowledge of his family there, except may have owned a farm.
