Mary Polly Conway b. 1811 Gallatin County, KY m. Newton Morgan b. 1803 Henry County, KY. Her parents were John and Mary Elizabeth Hopwood Conway. John Conway died at 93 yoa Jefferson County, IN and is buried at Hopewell Cemetary, Smyrna Township. It is inidacated that Conway family moved to KIn shortly before or during Civil War. I am seeking any information available on Mary Polly Conway Morgan and Newton Morgan, my ggrandmother/father. He possibly served in Co. G, 4th Kentucky Mounted Rifles and was a prisoner.
