I am trying to find the ancestry of Gabriel Constantineau, born c. 1780-85 in Quebec. He married c. 1810 to Catherine Deschamps and had the following known children:
1) Michel Constantineau - b. 27 Sep 1812, bap. 29 Sep 1812 in St. Raphael, Glengarry, Ontario. He married c. 1835 to Rose Villeneuve.
2) Remigius Constantineau, b. 24 Jun 1814, bap. 16 Jul 1814 in St. Raphael, Glengarry, Ontario.
3)Sophie Constantineau, b. 14 Apr 1816 in Prescott County, Ontario, bap. 5 Aug 1816 in Montebello, Papineau, Quebec.
4) Victoire Constantineau, married 14 Aug 1838 in Montebello, Quebec to Jean-Baptiste Racicot.
5) Angelique Constantineau, b. 3 Apr 1827 in Prescott County, Ontario, bap. 14 Jul 1827 in Montebello, Quebec.
Gabriel and family resided near East Hawkesbury, Prescott, Ontario for some years. I would be interested to hear from descendants to exchange information, etc. to determine Gabriel's parentage. Jim
