One tiny correction to your very interesting post on the Constineau family. It reads:
"13v.Marie-Francoise Pinel-dit-Lafrance, born 28 Feb 1698 in Rivière Ouelle, Kamouraska, QC; died 24 Feb 1729 in Québec City, QC. She married Joseph Hinse 01 Jul 1726 in Québec City, QC; born 04 Aug 1689 in Haverhill, Mass, USA; died 03 May 1756 in Québec City, QC.
Notes for Joseph Hinse:
He was captured with his father and brother on 4 Aug 1689 in Haverhill Mass. His father was successful in escaping the Amerindiens. The boys were taken prisoners to Canada. Then in May of 1710 they became natural citizens of Canada."
Joseph was born 4 Aug 1689, but he, his brother & father were captured 15 Aug 1696, making this Joseph 7 years old, not born the same day he was captured. This according to Jette, who says both boys were named Joseph, the other married Marie Pauze 3 Oct 1712 in Montmagny (pp 552-553)
Julien Constantineau & Marie Langlois were my 7th great-grandparents, and I am descended from their daughter Marie-Anne who married Mathurin-Jean Beland 24 Jul 1702 in Neuville or Pointe-aux-Trembles, Portneuf County, Quebec.
