There are several John Considines in my family, who are also from Ennis, County Clare. I am looking specifically for the family of my great-grandmother, Mary Frances Considine. She had a brother, John, but he moved to Pennsylvania, as did she, when she married Joseph Cullinan, also of County Clare. ManyConsidines settled in Dubuque because the Bishop of Clare settled there, and the Catholic population of Dubuque increased enormously during the famine because of this. I think Mary Frances's parents could have been Michael and Margaret but am not sure. I will keep looking for your John.
