My GG grandparents, Michael Considine b1823 married Mary Foley b1828. I think that they were from Lisdoonvarna. The had one child Mary in 1851 before moving to St Helens in Lancashire England sometime between then and 1857 when their next John was born.
I would be really really grateful for any information / advice etc on how to research local records - I am hitting brick walls!
