Dear Gigi,
On checking records further the Considines on the maternal side of my family were actually from Kilgobbin, Quinn rather than Kilgobbin, Tulla, as originally indicated.I got mixed up between the Roman Catholic Parishes and Civil Parishes when checking 19th Century records.Orbituary notices were posted on the following dates in the Clare Champion in respect of the following persons from Kilgobbin, Quinn: -
1. John Considine, 23rd February 1935 (Death Notice)
2. Mrs Mary Considine, 11th January 1941
3. Sylvester Considine, (b. 1864) 10th July 1943
4. Jeremiah Considine,20th May 1950
5. Mrs Margaret Considine, 9th March, 1957
As The Clare Champion is a weekly publication for County Clare these people could have died up to a few weeks beforehand.
Sylvester and Jeremiah Considine are my great grand uncles. Unfortunately I do not know who their spouses were neither do I know whether or not John Considine is also related to them. There are several Considines in County Clare.Incidentally Considines were a branch of the O'Brien Clan in Clare.
Hoping to hear from you soon
Regards
