My maiden name was Mary Margaret Considine. I was born in Chicago in 1939, one of 6 children. My father was John Francis Joseph, son of Anthony Considine and Margaret Mary McCarthy. My father was one of 5 children all born in Chicago we think - but his parents died when he was young. He was born in 1900 or 1901. All 5 are dead now. My dad said his parents were from Co. Clare and Cork. To our knowledge, there were no aunts or uncles or any kin. My sister still lives in Chicago - I live in Calif. We heard via a relative who went to Ireland that the family was from Ennis. That is about all he ever told us.
