Hi I am looking for Conroy's from Castletown, The Neale, County Mayo. My side of the family came over to the U.S. in 1900. A year later in the 1901 Census of Ireland, family members in Ireland lived on a farm close to The Neale. They were Margaret age 60 my great grandmother and her children John age 22, James age 21, Michael age 19, my great uncle Mickey, who came over to the U.S. in 1906, Winnie age 16 and Mary age 17. My grandmother Catherine came over to the U.S. in 1900, she joined 2 older brothers in Chicago they were Patrick and Timothy. I have a letter that James Conroy wrote my grandmother in 1934. James lived in Castletown, The Neale, his children were Mary Kate, Bridie, Michael, Norah, John and Patrick. A cousin of mine said we were also related to the Mellotte's from The Neale. I would like to exchange information with any County Mayo family. I have some pictures from Ireland. One of Margaret Macken my great grandmother and two of John Conroy my great grandfather. I also have a picture of my grandmother Catherine from Ireland with another woman who may be either Winnie or Mary Conroy.
