I am tring to trace back from my great-grandfather, James Conroy. He m.Mariah Nolan and had son, Richard. Richard m. Eileen Eastwood and had 7 children. Though Richard had come to NY several times before, he and his family emigrated from Dublin to Toronto in the early 1950s.

I understand James had a brother who was with Michael Collins when he died (there is even a Conroy mentioned in the film). He emigrated to the US (under an assumed name) and settled in CA. Unfortunately, I can remember neither his assumed nor given name at this time -- but would appreciate it on this branch as well.
