I am a descendant of a Thomas Conroy who was a Cavalryman at Ft Laramie in the 1800's. He married a lakota woman who had several children and then the marraige dissolved. The last we heard was that he went back east with one of the son's while my great-great grandmother remained with the Lakota's. His oldest son John "Wasicula" fought against General Custer at the Little Bighorn in 1876. Our family is planning a family reunion in Batesland SD this coming June 2001. Any info would be appreciated.
