My paternal grandfather was Peter Hunt Conroy. He was born (1868) in the townland of Boleyboy, near Ballandine. His paternal grandparents lived in Killeen, also near the town of Ballandine. Where in Mayo is Creevaugh? Since civil b/m/d/registration began in 1864, you should be able to get information on your Catherine Anne Conroy. If a baptismal record also exists, it is likely to provide both her mother's maiden name, and the names of baptismal sponsors. Have you asked the one of the Family History Centres in Mayo to conduct a search? I've had one done, and it really was not too expensive at all. The information that was provided was excellent.
Many of the names that occur in your Conroy family also occur in mine, but that's not enough to establish a connection.
