I seek genealogical information on two names which appear in the 1851 Canada directory at Aylmer, Quebec as follows:

Robert Conroy, lumber merchant, general store, and British Hotel
James Conroy, innkeeper

Specifically, I am interested to know if there is any connection between these Conroys and a Margaret/Marguerite Conroy who married James McWilliams circa 1825 (residence in Berthierville,
Berthier county, Quebec, in 1851)
