I am looking for information on my Great Grandmother Catherine Conroy. She was born in Ros Common, Ireland and died in Peoria, IL. She married John Leonard in Chicago, IL in Nov 1898. They had 3 children Mary, Thomas, and Catherine. Her daughter Catherine died as an infant. Catherine never recovered from amnesia after an accident injury and was institutionalized in an asylum in Peoria until her death. John left Mary and Thomas in ND with relatives because his work for the Western Union Telegraph Company kept him away much of the time.
