I have traced my wife's line back to James W. "Pop" CONROY, born in 1845 or 1846 in Brooklyn, N.Y., married Margaret Susan ____(Susannah O'Hare?) in Newark, Ohio between 1871 and 1873. Susan was born in May 1845 or 1846 in Ohio. James was a railroad engineer from 1869 to 1898. Children, all born in Ohio, were William P., b. 9/21/1877 or 1878, John T., b. 6/24/1879, and Elizabeth (Libby) b. July 1874, m. J.J. Fitzgerald. James died 9/10/1917 in Chattanooga, TN and Susie died 4/15/1926. I have not been able to identify James' parents or siblings. Do you believe that he might be linked to Thomas?
