Moved out of NY in 1972. Culture shock!! Now we range from Mass to Charlotte to AZ. Grandfather was Richard Joseph Conroy from Brooklyn, born 1886.

How many times do you get asked," Are you related to Pat Conroy, you know, the one that writes books?" I just reply, " I'm sure I am, but who knows how far down the line."
