Having been trying to locate any/all information on my maternal 2d. great-grandmother, Marie, or Maria Conroy. Due to conflicting records, she was either born in Ohio, or Pennsylvania c 1840-1845. Marie/Maria Conroy married Thomas Doyle (an Irish Famine immigrant - believed to be 2-3 years her senior) c 1865 (location unknown.) Thomas and Marie/Maria did, however, live in/around Saginaw Michigan in 1869 where their son (my great-grandfather) William James Doyle was born. Two other children (ages unknown) are also known to have been born of this union -another son, Richard (Doyle) and a daughter, Grace (Doyle.) Family was known to be devout Catholics. Realizing that this information is "sketchy" at best, I can only hope that someone may offer a "clue" with regard to Marie/Maria's family. Please feel to email if any of this information is familiar.
