My Conroy ancestors lived in and around Ballyhaunis and Claremorris. However, my great-grandfather Thomas Conroy/Conry married a woman from Hollymount which is near Ballinrobe. This fact suggests that there might have been a family link to the Ballinrobe area. I don't have any definite facts as yet. I have found some Co. Mayo Conroy info on the new LDS website (www.familysearch.com). This may be helpful to you. Remember to check the spelling Conry, also. Good luck.
