Brenda - I have started a new page dated 3/28/99 - Entitled MICHAEL CONROY - CAMBRIDGE VOL II - I hope this corrects problem
Your memories of my father drinking a lot are not understated - and it did get him into trouble - some minor - some quite seriously - Tommy would never talk about it when I was younger - but a few years before his health deteriorated - he told me that Mickey was in a bar room fight with a bunch of guys, which resulted in a man dying - and him going to jail - Because he was a professional fighter he was charged with manslauther - But I could never press him for more information. I believe the incident took place in Barnesville - Which, interestingly enough, is the repository for newspaper and court records for the County.
I am still baffled by the recent news that there is a sister out there whom I never knew existed - It was my impression that the only daughter was killed in an accident when she was quite young - If there is a sister out there I most certainly want to contact her - any informaiton you can provide would be greatly appreciated - Perhaps I should not assume that she would want to know of or meet with my sister Pat & I - The possibilities are exciting and frightening - at the same time - Do you know what her married name is? If so - let me know and I can begin a search.
This is beginning to sound like one of those unsolved mysteries that one sees on TV - but never gives any thought to happening to them
You are doing the right thing with the computer - just jump on in - you're doing a great job - I think on a keyboard - I actually broke my printer - didn't read the manual before I installed it - not covered by the warranty - But, I can download messages and print them out at the library.
I hope that I'm not taking up too much of your time - Don't forget to look at the new positing to respond.
