Suzanne,
Sorry for the confusion. It was my understanding that Rosmuc was an area of rounded hills, which actually stands for Ros (peninsula) and muc (pig) which probably means here that it is a peninsula of hog-backed hills, and it is. But, having talked it over with my wife, it appears that we are both correct in our assumptions, because the area just to the west of the church (An Baile Thiar- the west village) is known locally as Rosmuc, and apparently there are a lot of Conroy’s there. Yes, Kilbricken is on the peninsula along with other villages (Snamh Bo, Turloughberg and Ros Cide). As for a web site, I would suggest that you search for Rosmuc and see what comes up, but Rosmuc is famous for the site of Pearse's cottage. Good hunting.
