I'm sorry I don't have that information at this time. It is very confusing trying to research this family name. There were multiple families that moved into the Harrison County, Indiana area about the same time and it isn't very clear if or how they might be related. Family legend has it that my branch came from Pennsylvania and were said to have come through the Cumberland Gap with Daniel Boone, but I have not found any verification of that at this time.

There also seemed to be a large group that moved on to Conrad, Iowa from Harrison County. I don't know if they were just following where the land grants were available or what other motives for the migration.
