I am trying to locate Dr. Overton L. Conrad or better known in the Adair County area as Dr. Connard (as they pronounced it). He was born May 5, 1873 in Shelby Co., KY to James V. and Emma Llwelleyn Overton. He first married Sarah "Sallie" and had 3 children, Vance, Florence and Overton L. (who also was a Dr in Jefferson Co., KY) He married Mary Moody 2nd and they lived in the Breeding Community of Adair County KY where he was the Dr for years with his signature on many birth and death records. I have found him throughout the years in the census and found his burial place for his 2nd wife Mary that was Spencer Co., KY because she was from that area. His brothers and some family lived in the Jefferson Co., KY area. I am trying to locate his burial place and his death date and have had no luck finding that information. My mother and her siblings and most from the Adair County area pronounced his name Connard instead of the way it is spelled Conrad. Most records show Conrad and his signature does Conrad as well on documentation throughout his years as a physician. Any help would be appreciated so much. rjdooley23@aol.com
