A biography/family history of George Harfield Conrad, President of Conrad Savings and Trust of Helena, MT, is included in "Montana, Its Story and Biography", Vol 3, pages 1030 and 1031.
George was born to William and Fannie (Bowen) Conrad. They had five children: William Lee, d. 1878; Maria Josephine (Mrs. Gilbank Twigg, New York); Minnie Atkisson (Mrs. Charles Ried Rielly, Washington DC); George Harfield (Montana); Arthur Franklin.
George H. was educated at Randolph Macon Academy, Front Royal, Virginia. He married Miss Kathryn M. Kennedy, born in Choteau county, Montana, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. John A. Kennedy. Conrad children: Kathryn Elizabeth and Frances Lucile.
