Hi,
I think I be of some help to you.
William's father was George. His mother was Wilhelmine (Minnie)Apel. They were all born in the small town of Rainrod Germany, about 2 hours north of Stuttgardt if I recall correctly. The name was spelled Konrad. There were nine children:

Elise - 1858
jakob - 1861
Marie - 1863
Friederich - 1865
August - 1869 died 1869
August - 1870 (named after deceased brother)
Karl - 1872
William - 1874
Otto - 1876 - died 1877
Jakob came to America first. It's believed William came over following the death of his mother. He was only 17 when he arrived!
I hope this helps you. If I can be of any other assistance please let me know!!
