Hello,
I am a historical document collector and dealer and recently purchased a large group of documents from 1845-1852 that originally belonged to an attorney from Lancaster Pennsylvania that specialized in procuring pensions for veterans or their widows from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812 and the Mexican War.
One of these documents is a letter to Amweg from Charles Magill Conrad who was secretary of war on the date of the document, August 29, 1850.
