Searching for info on my grandfather, Louis Clarence Conrad, went by Clarence, nickname Shorty. Married my grandmother (Ruth Doster) in 1921 in Lucas County, Ohio. Served in WWI, as an ambulance driver. Was shot in France in the Argon Forest, and spent some time in the Maywood Veterans Hospital, Maywood, IL? He left, probably early 30's and moved to Cook Co. IL (Chicago) and operated a bar. Died in the 60's in California. PLEASE, have to other information. Any help greatly appreciated. Need DOB AND DOD.
